A squeaky metal door opening and closing.

For some reason, my audio didn't transfer on a video that i was editing, so i had to add it manually. I figured someone could use this sound of me opening my creaky front door, so i cleaned it up in audacity. No need to credit me; have fun creating!.

Effect was created with a standard wood violin. I used a tascam dr-05 to record. Please let me know if you would like any other sound effects from a violin. My sounds are completely free, use them for whatever you'd like. :). While we were in studio, a friend of mine found out that his drum throne creaks in a cool way. He gave it a little performance, and i got it on "tape". Recorded with a zoom h2 at 96khz/24-bit. Uncut, unprocessed, raw.

This may be the most irritating squeak sound ever. In our office, we discovered a particular filing cabinet that squeaked if you would lean against it. It was too good to pass up. So i put my recorder in the drawer and leaned. This is the result: four squeaks of unparalleled irritation. I hope you can find a use for this in your projects.

Shed door opens, then closed. First with a metallic click to unlock and followed by a long opening creaking door. Once opened there is a plastic rustle and the door closes with an even longer spooky creaking noise. Followed by a clunk when shut and a metallic click to lock the shed door. Silence back and front.

I recorded the sound of my wooden, squeaky screen door opening and then bouncing shut with a couple bangs. You can hear the squeak of the hinges as the door is opened, then again as it starts to close. The stretching and retraction of the spring is slightly noticeable. The door bounces a couple times as it closes, and you can also hear the latch rattling at this time. Recorded with audacity on my computer using a cheap, hand-held piezo mic. (i recorded this for use in a theatrical play i was working on [ daddy's dyin'. . . Who's got the will? ] because i couldn't find anything suitable elsewhere. ).
